1st MORFEO Community meeting in Ibero-America

<lang_all>SPEG LA 2008

The 1st Morfeo Community meeting in Iberoamerica will be held within the SEPG LA 2008 at Mar del Plata, Argentina and the presentation in society of MORFEO South Cone office.

The objective of the meeting is to present from different perspectives of the use of Free Software in companies in both sides of the Atlantic and to debate on the business and collaboration possibilities of the Open Source offers at the enterprise and the Public Administration environment. The round table will count with panelistas from first international level and it will be followed by a debate with the assistants participation.

Morfeo on the OSWC

The Morfeo Community is taking part in the Open Source World Conference that will be held at Málaga on 20-22 October. Morfeo is collaborating with a stand and several talks and workshops. Different Morfeo partners support the conference and, in addition, some of us will be also at Málaga collaborating with the conference and disseminating the Morfeo Community.

Service Front End Workshop

Next June 24th, the EzWeb, MyMobileWeb and FAST projects will be presented in the 1st workshop organized by the Services Front-End (SFE) Collaboration Working Group in FP7 and the User-Services Interaction (USI) NESSI Working Group.

The main goal of this workshop is to set up a collaboration plan among relevant European projects, linked or not to FP7, aimed to develop key Service Front End platform technologies and standards for the future Internet of Services in order to effectively deliver:

  • A common vision on the technologies and architecture associated to Service Front End in the future Internet of Services.
  • Open specifications and, potentially, open source reference implementations of components in the envisioned architecture.
